INTRODUCING THE ATR 72-500F
As part of KF Aerospace and Purolator’s contract renewal in 2024, KF is currently upgrading the BCFN fleet from the Convairs to the modern ATR 72-500F aircraft, helping to ensure continued efficiency and reliability in cargo transportation across the province.
KF completed and delivered the first ATR 72-500F in May 2025, with two additional aircraft scheduled to join our fleet later this year.

KF Aerospace selected the ATR72-500F aircraft as the single fleet solution that best meets Purolator’s operational needs. After a comprehensive evaluation, the ATR72-500F stood out as the ideal choice to replace the aging Convair fleet:
• Efficiency and Speed: Provides a containerized solution to meet or exceed morning delivery time requirements at key locations, including Kelowna (YLW) and Victoria (YYJ).
• Advanced Design: The aircraft features the Large Cargo Door (LCD) Conversion STC package, uniquely applicable to the ATR 72- 500F, offering enhanced flexibility for cargo operations.
