KF Aerospace’s Hamilton Base Lands a New A320 Simulator
April 22, 2026
This month, KF Aerospace proudly welcomed a new A320 simulator to its Hamilton base, further enhancing training capabilities for employees across the organization.
This advanced training tool allows team members to work through realistic scenarios, make informed decisions, observe outcomes, and refine their approach in a controlled environment. It creates a space where employees can learn, ask questions, and build confidence before participating in live engine runs.
The acquisition of our newest simulator is part of our strategy to provide state-of-the-art training in-house at KF Aerospace. We’re proud to be a Transport Canada Approved Training Organization (ATO), authorized to deliver maintenance training and assessments. This latest investment reflects our commitment to leveraging cutting-edge technology to provide the highest standard of training for our employees.
“We’re pleased to welcome the new A320 simulator to YHM as a valuable training aid that strengthens our local capability and supports safe, effective preparation for A320 work,” says Steve Hennige, KF’s YHM Hangar Operations Manager. “A big thank-you to the Training team for their dedication and effort in getting this simulator up and running for our facility.”
The simulator supports a wide range of training activities, including flight deck familiarization, systems training, lockout procedures, and engine ground run (EGR) preparation. It is designed to provide employees with a comprehensive understanding of aircraft operations beyond their specific trade. As our team members build confidence and capability, the quality of our work delivered to customers continues to strengthen, directly supporting the high level of service KF Aerospace is known for.
